Overview:
**LEON'S IS HIRING A COMMUNICATION AND RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR**

Leon’s is a family-built, publicly owned company that has been a part of Canadian homes, and families for over a century, and we are growing. We are currently looking to hire a coordinator to support communication and recruitment. This in-office position is based out of our corporate Home Office in Toronto, Ontario.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with the HR team to continue development of a cross functional communications strategy for Leon’s
- Work with all internal Home Office departments to consolidate information going to stores and direct all communications through a single source
- Manage Leon’s communication portal and assist in administration of Learning Centre site
- Manage, organize and distribute daily, weekly and monthly internal communications across all stores and positions
- Maintain communication distribution lists
- Complete various other administrative tasks, as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in communications (preferred) or a comparable administrative role
- Certificate or diploma in Communications or Office Administration preferred. A combination of education and experience will also be considered
- Strong communications (written and verbal) along with customer service, time management, organizational, listening, and telephone skills
- Some previous experience with recruitment beneficial
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately and consistently
- Experience supporting senior leaders and ability to adapt to the needs of different departments
- Exceptional organizational skills required; must be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and technology and to work as part of a team
- Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines without sacrificing detail and meet deadlines under pressure
- Self starter and team player; able to work independently with mínimal supervision and take the lead on projects as required
- Ability to interpret, implement and adhere to organizational policies and procedures
- Bilingual (English/French) an asset
