Applications are invited for the position of Head Coach, Men’s Basketball in the Athletics and Student Engagement Division, located at the Welland Campus. The salary range is $29,000 to $35,000/annually, for a 20-hour work week. Additional hours may be required as necessary.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Develop and implement an annual training and competition program to maximize all opportunities for success in the OCAA/CCAA
- Support and monitor student-athletes’ academic progress
- Establish a strong basketball recruiting network
- Provide appropriate physical and mental training programs
- Integrate community programming with the men’s basketball program
- Design and run grassroots clinics and camps
- Support and act in accordance to the strategic direction and initiatives as they relate to student-athlete support, general promotions, budget management, appropriate administrative responsibilities, and community/alumni relations
- Lead the program in accordance to Niagara College, OCAA, and CCAA policies and procedures

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or diploma or similar field of study
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant coaching experience, preferably at the head coach level
- “Train to Compete” Certification (or equivalent) or, on the National Coach Certification Program (NCCP) pathway
- Previous coaching experience in the OCAA/CCAA, Ontario University Athletics (OUA)/USPORT and/or Elite Club level is considered an asset
