The Opportunity

As the Associate Vice President, Personal Lines MB/SK, you provide leadership to the Personal Lines Team and is responsible for maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes within the Personal Lines operations within MB and SK. With a focus on building and maintaining technical knowledge as well as solid insurance industry relationships, this role also ensures that personal lines and retention sales are supported and increased while employees are provided with opportunities to grow within the Organization. The Associate Vice President, Personal Lines develops and maintains operational excellence by improving efficiencies and ensuring that, even during organizational growth, all systems in the organization are aligned toward achieving overall strategic goals.Working as needed with the COO and/or Senior Vice President of Operations and/or other Regional Leadership to develop, implement and sustain a Personal Lines delivery model that meets HUB targets and from time-to-time assist with M&A due diligence and integration.

Full-Time Permanent career working out of our Winnipeg Head Office located at 1661 Portage Avenue.

**What you will bring to the role**:
Ideally, 10 years of progressive industry and people management experience is required.

CAIB Designation is required.

Post-secondary studies in Business Administration desired; studies in Retail Management would be considered ideal.

Previous experience managing across organizational boundaries is required.

Education and experience in Quality Management desired.

Advanced insurance knowledge in personal lines, commercial, automobile, life and travel insurance processes and procedures.

Professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required for this position, ability to communicate professionally with insurance companies and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Strong, proven analytical problem solving with the ability to make decisions and move forward with the work at hand.

Strong organization and time management skills with demonstrated attention to detail.
