As a lecturer for the supervision of internships in Special Education Techniques (TES) or Early Childhood Education Techniques (TEE), you will be responsible for providing theoretical and practical teaching. This role includes designing educational programs, facilitating course sessions, evaluating students and supporting them in their academic career. Your role may also include contributing to research in your area of expertise. You will work with a diverse clientele, including children and youth with learning challenges, while developing interventions and strategies to meet their needs.
**Status**: Contract - Winter 2025 Session
**Location**: LaSalle College, Montreal, Quebec
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follows up with students on internships, guides them in knowledge translation and helps them overcome difficulties in the workplace.
- Observe, evaluate and give constructive feedback on the performance of the trainees in relation to the pedagogical objectives, in collaboration with the supervisors.
- Serve as a link between the school and internship sites to solve problems and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Document progress, record evaluations and write reports on the internship, in accordance with program requirements.
- To encourage the development of students' professional and interpersonal skills with a view to their professional integration.
- Any other related tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan group sessions ;
- Deliver sessions in a dynamic, effective and structured manner;
- Follow up each student and encourage success;
- Be available to students to help them develop the skills targeted by the course;
- All other related tasks.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- You must be legally entitled to work in Canada;
- Hold a university certificate or diploma or a college diploma, with an option or concentration in the discipline concerned;
- Teach or have teaching experience in the discipline for a full session within the last five (5) years;
- Have worked in a trade or profession related to the discipline or course for at least two (2) years;
- Valide clearence certificate.

This role involves interactions with international students and team members. A professional command of English and French is therefore required for this position.
