Dockside and Taproom Sales Representative

Reporting to the Taproom Customer Experience Manager, the Dockside and Taproom Sales Representative is a hybrid role with spring to fall selling our dockside program and providing delivery and servings to our dockside clients. During the fall and winter season, this person will actively lead our Taproom shifts providing excellence in service and sharing your passion for our brands.
During the off season for the dockside program you will develop innovate marketing and programming offerings to continue to grow awareness and enrich the services we provide. You will also be responsible to lead our summer Dockside student throughout the summer term.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Dockside Rep**:
- Lead and expand our the Dockside program through seeking sales opportunities, facilitating great service to current program advocates, and building our consumer base around the Muskoka region.
- Ensure the execution of POS & branding, product delivery, conducting draught quality audits, educating consumers on the brand and helping them along their beer journey.
- Participate and support larger events to build the strong branding (including booth set up, brochure packages, and sampling) opportunites for the program
- Manage individual time and activities to maximize effectiveness
- Develop annual sales and innovating go to market strategy for the program. Work with the Taproom Expereince Manager and marketing lead on design and promotions
- Contribute to overall company drive for success and growth through sharing of competitive insights, marketing opportunities, customer feedback
- Provide weekly reporting to CEM and DM on the programs progress
- Leading the student(s), ensure clear communication and planning to coordinate deliveries and manager Dockside route plans on a daily basis for all deliveries
**Taproom**:
- Work with the Taproom Customer Experience Manager to ensure shift responsibilities are communicated with a clear focus on engaging our guests and providing an exceptional experience that is both fun and educational
- Leading guided tours and tastings to both small and large groups
- Engaging the team to achieving daily sales targets and ensure effective daily and seasonal opening and closing procedures
- Ensure taproom store displays, beverages and merchandising are fully stocked and rotated.
- Ensure guests are welcomes into a clean, safe and well maintained areas including outdoor spaces
- Other duties as requested
**Working Conditions**:
- Must be available to work in and out of the Brewery. For Dockside, you will be in various settings including driving, delivering and servicing units in the clients residence, at events or in the Taproom. some office work can be completed at home but is limited.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, 50 lbs or more with assistance.
- Ability to walk, stand and move around for long periods of time
- Comfortable working in a kitchen as required (food handlers certificate an asset)
**Requirements**:
- Achieved or working towards a post secondary education,
- Passion for our brands, sales, and customer service. Smart Serve
- Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and excel in a team environment
- Experience with a POS system and handling cash/credit/debit card transactions is an asset
- Proven record of customer centric service
- Ability to lead a small group with exemplary work ethic and commitment to our values
- Highly organized, self-motivated with an ability to multi-task
- Excellent verbal communication skills are required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office operating systems (Outlook, Teams, Excel are consistently used)
