Department Purpose/ Function

Learning and Developmentfocus involves developing and implementing an organization's learning strategy, ensuring alignment of learning & development department with business goals, and optimizing training processes to improve ROI.

Job Summary
Learning Specialist will implementing the strategic priorities content development and on the job training for the L&D department.

**Content development Primary Responsibilities**:
Learning & Development
Facilitate Training
- Facilitate the onboarding program across Canada for employees and partners.
- Facilitate in-person and virtual workshops for continued skill development for our employees and partners.
- Facilitate in-person and virtual sessions to support new technology launches and/or upgrades, work closely with R&D to support new product testing and new pilot project testing.
- Facilitate in-person client presentation for new products and services.
- Deliver customized, practice-specific technical training to our employees and partners all across Canada.
- Deliver training events nationally including in-class, in-store, virtual facilitation, and blended learning

Design & develop

Identify and assess future and current training opportunities aligned with the company’s strategy and several departments needs
- Develop learning resources which can include reference guides, videos, eLearning and digital media assets
- Develop pricing catalogues (both regular + promotional) and sales tools in conjunction with sales/marketing and L&D Protocols
- Develop and update existing learning resources (reference guides, eLearnings, videos, leader’s guide, PowerPoint presentations) as needed
- Evaluate training effectiveness by soliciting participant feedback (employees and partners) for continual improvement and needs analysis
- Deliver individual and group training covering technical and operational aspects for all company initiatives
- Develop training programs for internal and external teams to match company objectives
- Create training outlines and determine delivery methods, specific to effectiveness of training methods such as individual training, group instructions, lectures, demonstrations, virtual meetings, and workshops
- Select or create training resources, including training user guides/manuals, demonstration models, e-learning, and technical tutorials
- Evaluate effectiveness of training and skills development and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods
- Create training needs analysis and provide advice on training for system change and upgrades
- Develop and implement strategies and tools in collaboration with Change Management to enable

**Administration**:

- Work with various departments training schedule for onboarding, workshops and in field training.
- Maintaining and developing training courses, learning plans, training reports on the LMS software.
- Assist in data integrity assessment for training data on Salesforce.
- Involved in strategic projects as required by management
- Social media support
- Support IT and other departments to develop KPIs for all departments

Technology & Assets
- Responsible for managing business using United technologies provided (Dayforce/Salesforce/Outlook/Other applicable Apps). Responsible for asset management.

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Perform all daily functions in alignment with company mission, vision, and values
- Work in compliance with Health & Safety policies and legislation, and take every reasonable precaution to protect the health and safety of all employees and business partners

Job Requirements and Expectation
- 50% travel within the designated territory or outside the province you live
- Ability to deal with high level of stress and solve problems as they arise.
- Ability to work flexible shifts on a rotation basis or some evenings.
