**Our background**

We’re a small coffee roastery based in downtown Lunenburg and have been in business for 20 years. We have a wholesale business, operate 3 Farmers’ Markets year round plus a Coffee Bar. We have a small production team who are supportive, hard working and fun.

**Job Overview**
- This is a mainly a physical job operating basic packaging equipment but there are other tasks such as deliveries, production assistance and market help depending on the need
- Being a problem solver, able to multi-task, taking pride in a repetitive job well done and respecting deadlines is key.
- Self motivated but comfortable working within a team structure.
- It is essential to keep work space clean and well organized.
- Multi-task to keep a work flow while always paying attention to the details.

**Responsibilities**
- Follow standard operating procedures to bag and grind our coffee beans.
- Operate weigh/fill equipment, coffee grinders and label printers.
- Attention to detail to ensure quality control standards are being met.
- Keep track of inventory of coffee packaged, bags and labels
- Able to do simple projections of how much product to bag on a daily basis.
- Able to lift and move buckets up to 60 lbs.
- Assist in production with other tasks as needed.

**Bonus Qualifications**
- Previous work in a production setting.
- Experience working in a physically-demanding role.
- Being observant, detail minded, clean and organized.

**Equipment used**
- Weigh fill bagging machine
- Heat sealer
- Multiple coffee grinders
- Label printers for coffee bags

**On the personal side**
- Must have positive outlook with a good sense of humour (always important:)
- Must be a problem solver and able to multi task
- Physically able to stand for 8 hrs while lifting, bending, twisting.
- Ability to lift and pull up to 50 - 60lbs.
- Strong manual dexterity. Maintain attention to detail while monitoring a number of tasks
- High standards for work performance from start to finish
- Legally cleared to work in Canada with S.I.N.

**Salary**: starting at $16/hr and up depending on experience

**Job Type**: Full time, 8 hrs per day, permanent

**Benefits**:
