Reporting to the **Quality Control Manager**, the CMM Technician is responsible for maintaining high quality workmanship standards as specified in procedures and work control documents to produce parts that meet the needs of our customers. The CMM Technician is also responsible for performing CMM inspections and analyzing the measurement result to determine if the item meets the requirements using CMM and appropriate software.

**In this role, you will**:

- Perform inspection techniques using a variety of metrology equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges.
- Comprehend and use quality standards such as ISO, military, or government standards.
- Read and understand advanced engineering drawings/specifications Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Follow quality plans/procedures for inspection and testing.
- Attend work as scheduled to achieve business objectives.
- Fulfill productivity objectives as established in procedures and work control documents.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment and perform work safely and identify hazards.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of all data requirements as specified in procedures and work control documents.

**You have**:

- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent. least 3 years of practical experience in manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Advanced computer skills including experience with CAD/CAM are considered an asset.
- CMM experience is an asset.
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing documentation.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Dedicated team player, who demonstrates initiative and independence.
