This position encompasses both the roles of Sales Associate, and Repair Technician.
The **primary role is that of a sales associate** at Ultimac Technologies, your main responsibilities would revolve around providing exceptional customer service, promoting Apple products and services, and driving sales.
During periods when customers are either not present or engaged with another associate, your secondary role is to complete Apple-related repairs as a service technician.

**Typical responsibilities**:

- **Product Knowledge**:Acquiring in-depth knowledge of not only Apple products but also the additional products and services offered by the store, such as Sonos speakers, CCTV/surveillance systems, Koodo Mobile plans, and Managed IT Services for business. You must be able to explain their features, benefits, and technical details to customers.
- **Customer Assistance and Engagement**:Greeting customers, understanding their requirements, and providing personalized recommendations based on their needs. Engaging in active conversations to build rapport and assist customers in making informed purchase decisions across all product categories.
- **Sales and Revenue Generation**:Utilizing sales techniques to promote and sell various product lines, including Apple products, Sonos speakers, CCTV/surveillance systems, and Koodo Mobile plans. Achieving or exceeding sales targets and contributing to overall store revenue.
- **Cross-Selling and Upselling**:Identifying opportunities to cross-sell products from different categories and upsell higher-value items or service packages, such as offering Managed IT Services for businesses.
- **Technical Expertise**:Demonstrating technical proficiency in Apple products and other offerings to address customer inquiries and provide support. Assisting customers with setup, troubleshooting, and compatibility questions for various products.
- **Customer Support**: Offering after-sales support, including resolving customer issues or concerns related to any product or service purchased from the store. Ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering a positive shopping experience.
- **Store Maintenance and Visual Merchandising**:Contributing to store organization and maintenance, including restocking shelves, updating product displays, and ensuring the store's overall visual appeal.
- **Collaboration with Team Members**:Collaborating with other sales associates and team members to ensure a smooth and efficient store operation. Sharing knowledge and insights to improve the team's performance collectively.

**Work Experience, Skills, or Education**:

- There is no formal requirement for this position.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous retail or sales experience would be beneficial, especially in consumer electronics, mobile, or technology-related products and services.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for engaging customers effectively and understanding their needs.
- Technical proficiency in Apple products, as well as a working knowledge of Sonos speakers, CCTV/Security systems, and/or mobile carrier plans like Koodo Mobile.
- Familiarity with IT Services for businesses (Microsoft 365, VOIP, etc) and the ability to articulate their advantages to potential business customers.
- Sales-driven mindset with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and find solutions to various technical and compatibility issues.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle a diverse range of products and services within the store.

Given the multiple product categories and services offered, the ideal sales associate would possess a combination of product knowledge, sales acumen, and technical expertise to cater to a wide range of customer needs and inquiries. Continuous learning and staying updated on the latest product advancements and features would be crucial for success in this role.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
