As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Automotive Accessory Sales Specialist to join our passionate team.

**Job Overview**:
The Retail Sales and Service Associate will be an integral part of our team, responsible for offering expert advice, selling a variety of automotive and outdoor accessories, and providing installation support. You will work directly with customers to understand their needs, recommend suitable products, and assist in the installation of accessories. This role requires a combination of sales skills, technical knowledge, and a passion for vehicles and outdoor gear.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Product Knowledge**:Stay updated on the latest truck and vehicle accessories, outdoor gear, and industry trends to offer the best solutions for customers.
- **Research & Problem Solving**:Conduct research to source products from company suppliers and find the best options to meet customer needs while maintaining company goals.
- **Sales & Quoting**: Use Eagle Software to create accurate quotes, check pricing, order and receive inventory. Ensure a seamless sales process from initial inquiry to final purchase.
- **Service**: Schedule installations and liaise with shop staff. Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve customer complaints.
- **Inventory Management**: Receive and input inventory into the system, maintaining an organized stock to ensure products are readily available for customers.
- **Installation Support**:Assist installer as required, using mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge to ensure proper setup and customer satisfaction.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with team members to create a positive and efficient work environment. Take on projects without explicit instruction and contribute to a friendly, team-oriented atmosphere.
- **Administrative Duties**: Handle POS system operations, process transactions, and manage client quotes and orders. Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude while working under pressure.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: At least 2 years of sales and customer service experience in automotive parts and accessories, with a strong understanding of vehicle modification. Familiarity with off-road, overlanding, and camping accessories is a plus. A high school diploma or higher is required.
- **Technical Skills**: Mechanical ability or technical aptitude preferred. Strong attention to detail. Quick learner with strong work ethic and drive to succeed.
- **Customer Focus**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a friendly demeanor. Strong organizational and time management abilities, along with a genuine interest in automotive products. Ability to listen to customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- **Problem-Solving**:Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to develop custom solutions and think through installation processes. Requires analytical skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- **Computer Proficiency**: Solid computer knowledge, with the ability to check multiple supplier sites for the best prices, product features, and order dates. Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Eagle Software or similar systems is beneficial.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work some weekend days. The shop is open 6 days per week so shifts may be Monday - Saturday.
- **Location**: Reside in the Cowichan Valley area or be able to reliably commute.
- **Additional Skills**: A can-do attitude, self-motivated work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and carry out assigned tasks with mínimal supervision. Punctuality and reliability are essential. A criminal record check is required.
