**Work environment**:
Elections Canada offers a hybrid work model which permits telework in most situations. However, employees are expected to work onsite at least 2 days per week (or a minimum of 40% of their working schedule). This includes one fixed day onsite for all employees of the same team and one flexible day (i.e. not fixed) at an onsite location. Work arrangements outside of this model will be considered on an exceptional basis only.

**Intent of the process**:
The immediate intention of this process is to staff 1-5 specified period positions (long term) within the Voter Registration Services (VRS) division or other divisions within Elections Canada.

EDUCATION
Diploma from a post-secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
Professional experience correcting personal and address information included in a corporative data base.

Experience in compiling and analyzing data with the objective of producing reports and statistics.

ASSET EDUCATION
- A post-secondary degree with an acceptable specialization in *social science or statistics.

Notes:

- Social science includes economics, political science, sociology, anthropology, history, psychology, geography, criminology and other disciplines associated with social science.
- Post-secondary degree with an acceptable specialization in data science.

Degree equivalency

ASSETS EXPERIENCE
- Experience in writing procedures and documenting technical systems and processes.
- Experience in testing software or systems.
- Experience in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
- Experience in using and creation of reports and dashboards with Power BI
- Experience using and programming SAS.
- Experience in programming SQL requests.
- Experience in using geographic information systems such as ArcGIS.
- Experience working in an electoral context.

ASSETS KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Knowledge of SAS programming language.
- Knowledge of MS Access programming.
