- Looking for a new and exciting job opportunity? We are looking for a Coordinator, Training and Quality Assurance to join our team**What You Will Do**:
- You will be reporting to the Operations Manager, and you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and on-going management of the department training program for all staff and unionized employees.
- You will provide day-to-day leadership within the portfolio by developing and maintaining a training program that ensures a curriculum that is current and in accordance with work requirements, legislation, safety standards, TTC policy and industry best practices.
- You will work with management and supervisory personnel to determine training needs, including budget forecasts
- You will ensure that curriculum development is based on job function needs, legislative requirements and safety standards.
- You will forecast training needs and communicate this with internal training suppliers to ensure requirements can be satisfied.
- You will deliver training sessions and perform training related presentations.
- You will organize training that is aligned with the business strategy.
- You will prepare printed and electronic training materials, update and revise lesson plans, workbooks, training aids and a variety of teaching materials.
- You will identify and assess current and future training and development needs of the department by conducting research including needs analysis, external/internal surveys, review policies, procedures, work methods, safe practices, technical manuals, vendor information, legislation and regulatory requirements related to the work.
- You will ensure construction and supply contracts include appropriate training requirements.
- You will develop, deliver and implement department-level safety training programs; manage the roll-out of corporate, group and department-level training and development initiatives.
- Additionally, you will develop and manage quality control methods, procedures, targets and objectives as they relate to training for the department, including auditing training courses, coordinating action plans, and developing and publishing performance measures related to quality assurance activities.
- You will implement quality control activities to Standard Operating Procedures; develop action plans, responses and performance measures rated to quality assurance activities.
- You will act as department level coordinator for all Learning Management Systems (LMS) / Learning Centre (SAP) issues and activities and provide training and direction to department employees on the use of the LMS / SAP system. This will include participating in any LMS / SAP related learning management project teams and the integration of new LMS / SAP into the department.

**What Qualifications Do You Bring**:
- Your educational background will consist of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a related discipline, or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.
- Additionally, a certificate in Adult Education, Teacher/Trainer of Adults or Adult Learning & Development is an asset.
- Certification in occupational health and safety technology or Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (CRSP) would also be considered an asset.
- You must have Knowledge of the operations and services available through the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development. This includes programs that support apprentices, skilled trades and industry training. In addition, knowledge of technical and safety training mandate by this ministry.
