Essential Job Functions
- ENGLISH speaking
- Minimum 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
- Onsite Support / Technical Support experience - Must be available to be onsite at the customer location downtown Toronto 5 days a week.
- Provides on-site field support to customers including installation, and servicing and repairing systems and equipment. Verifies and approves operational quality of system equipment.
- Resolves customer issues in the areas of software and hardware installation, repair, upgrade and maintenance. Assists in investigating and resolving complex installations and maintenance matters of significance.
- Onboarding and Offboarding users
- Instructs customers in the troubleshooting and in the operation and maintenance of systems/equipment.
- Ensures issues are referred to the appropriate personnel/service areas for follow up, testing and troubleshooting.
- Acts as a liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
- Performs analysis and prepares reports on system problem trends and issues.
- Follows up with customers as required to ensure their enquiries are resolved within the contracted or agreed upon time frame
- Logs and tracks inquiries using a database/ticketing system and maintains history records and related documentation
- Identifies, evaluates and prioritizes customer problems and complaints to ensure that inquiries are resolved appropriately
- Other duties as required/requested

Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Two or more years of Onsite / Field support experience
- Experience working with computer, company products and operating systems
- Experience with solving computer related problems
- Experience working with company escalation policy
- Experience working with the company's hardware, software and equipment products
- Experience working with customer technology and support requirements
- Other Qualifications
- Good interpersonal skills to work with customers and other unit personnel
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to resolve hardware and equipment problems
- Must be efficient and respond to requests in a timely manner
- Ability to work individually as well as in a Team Environment, Work Environment, Office environment,
- Shift work / weekend work
