Westway Plumbing & Heating is a locally owned, complete mechanical firm, providing top-quality service in the greater Kamloops area. We are looking for Apprentice's and Journeyman/Women Sheetmetal workers to join our Kamloops team on a full-time, permanent basis. As our client base grows so does our team and we are looking for highly motivated individuals with strong mechanical aptitude to join our team.

**Journeyman/Woman & Apprentice Sheetmetal Job Duties**:
Teach and supervise apprentices on job sites performing tasks, retrieving tools and parts. Prepare and set up work areas per WorkSafe regulations and Westway's policies

Able to follow directions, have a positive attitude, personal hand tools

Analyze and interpret construction and schematic drawings, technical literature and equipment specifications

**Qualifications**:
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral

Strong work ethic with mechanical inclination and a desire to learn

Teamwork oriented with a self-starter passion and ability to act independently in a tactful manner at all levels of a company

Experience in laying out for the installation of duct, pipe and Equipment.

Valid drivers license

Ability to read blueprints, drawings and specs

Demonstrate strong time management, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

Knowledge and skill of tools, equipment, material and practices of the trade.

**Salary**: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
