**Job Summary**:
Black Box Manufacturing, a company that designs, manufactures, installs, and tests solutions for industrial equipment packaging, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician (Mechanical or Electrical Skilled Labourer) to join our team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical systems. You will work closely with the in-house engineering, project management, and welding/fabrication teams to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in basic electrical installation projects with the opportunity for advancement and schooling
- Assist in basic metal fabrication projects with the opportunity for advancement and schooling
- Assist in non-structural welding projects with the opportunity for advancement and schooling
- Complete weld finishing duties
- Perform cleaning and paint preparation duties for various projects
- Perform minor painting tasks as directed by supervisors
- Fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components to create finished products
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time
- Experience with various power tools and equipment
- Have basic tooling such as tape measure, knife, etc. PPE will be provided.
- Ability to Lift 50lbs
- Minimum of 1 year exeriance in a related construction industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Trade school/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Discipline is beneficial

**Compensation** will be commensurate with the successful applicant’s strengths and experience as measured by the above description.

**Salary range**: $21-$26 per hour

**Day shift: Monday - Thursday 10 hrs shift ( possibility for overtime pay)**
