**Summary**:
The Procurement Organization manages all aspects of sourcing & procurement within Bell Canada. The Procurement Department’s mission is to create value through its strategic role of providing best-in-class sourcing solutions while improving Bell Canada’s EBITDA through cost reductions. This is achieved through:

- The negotiation of agreements and other legal documents on behalf of Bell/BCE and its Supplier community, setting the terms and conditions for the provision of products and services to Bell/BCE while optimizing Bell’s opportunities for improvements to EBITDA through reduced costs.
- Overall management of key outsourcing and sourcing arrangements to maximize value aligning with strategic evolution of supply chain and EBITDA objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage a portfolio of commercial contracts and vendor relationships within the Wireline Network and Infrastructure procurement team
- Support the Procurement of Wireline Network and Infrastructure Products and Services in an efficient and flexible manner, based on business needs and category management principles
- Support strategic sourcing primes by assisting with spend analysis
- Augment the effectiveness of Bell’s spend on IT managed and professional services
- Prepare / design presentation material for review at the senior management level
- Continually identify leading practices from inside and outside of Bell for implementation/adoption
- Lead sourcing initiatives utilizing Bell systems in the distribution and management of RFI, RFQ and RFP
- Manage portfolio of commercial contracts and vendor relationships
- Drive total cost of ownership reduction, through joint process improvements with supplier
- Re-negotiate contracts in those situations not addressed by ‘strategic initiatives’
- Manage, perform quality control, and generate reports on spend data and other key indicators as required
- Recommend, develop, coordinate and implement best practice processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of the work performed by Procurement

**Critical Qualifications**:

- University degree in Business Administration or related field
- Experience of general procurement /supply chain
- Knowledge of Bell’s various business units
- Strong listening and negotiation skills
- Ability to formulate negotiating strategies
- Superior communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, statistics knowledge and experience
- Proven ability to create unique solutions to manage and/or analyze data
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills
- Ability to persuade others / sell concepts and idea
- Excellent prioritization skills
- Results orientation; resilience in face of complexity
- Unrelenting attention to detail
- Demonstrated and tenacious problem solver
- Good business judgement and acumen

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prior experience with Bell Canada’s SAP and Ariba systems
- Familiarity with spend analysis techniques
- Understanding of Bell Canada’s business units and management structure
- Understanding and expertise in data manipulation, sorting and analysis tools (Excel, SAP, Ariba, Ivalua, etc.) is a strong asset
- Bilingualism is an asset (English and French);
