We currently have an immediate need for Operations Supervisor position
- Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
- Fosters positive working relationships. Responds proactively to performance concerns, discipline, employee complaints, and other employee relations matters.
- Plans, organizes, and supervises the shipping function, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Prepares bills of lading and other shipping documents. Creates and hands off complete and appropriate documentation to all parties including drivers.
- Create and reconcile all receiving and delivery transactions in the system and all required documents associated with each shipment to required standards.
- Provides supervision, training in SOP’s, scheduling, and guidance to shipping/ receiving employees.
- Ensures that the team complies with the company health and safety requirements and ensures proper methods and standard operating procedures are followed to meet quality, safety, environment standards.
- Conducts inventory counts as required and be responsible for accuracy of inventory and security of it.
- Supervises, trains and reviews performance of shipping/receiving and inventory staff.
- Recommends measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and equipment performance.

- Lead a department of employees who are responsible for following Standard Operating Procedures/Work Instructions and meeting Key Performance Indicators as set by the General Manager.
- Provide coaching and on the job training to ensure that employees are capable of meeting individual performance goals and are cross trained to maximize their contribution to the company and provide backup support when needed.
- Assess employees using approved performance management processes and coaching techniques, while providing fair and consistent feedback.
- Investigates accidents, completes accident reports and ensures preventive actions are implemented.
- Determines daily operational plan, sets priorities and assigns employees as required. Request additional resources if required.
- Demonstrate knowledge of current on ongoing customer requirements, changes to contracts or new client set up in order to meet customer expectations and Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Lead a team of Dispatchers and Planners that run the day-to-day operations to exceed SLAs and KPIs, with a focus on Load Out Time and Deliveries per Hour.
- Oversee all verticals of the transportation operations including last mile delivery drivers and delivery assistants, fleet management and special projects. Need to add accessorial charge revenue, monthly operations report.
- Handle and problem solve major operation escalations in a rapid change/growth environment.
- Responsible for daily planning and On time performance.

**Experience**:
