**About the Role**

As a member of the People & Culture Team, the Talent Acquisition Consultant will:

- Confirms internal transfers, including: arranging written confirmation; notifying appropriate People and Culture colleagues.
- Identify new sourcing strategies to build talent pool/network of key positions through anticipatory sourcing and selection.
- Provide other administrative, generalist, and project and program support on behalf of the People & Culture Team, including:

- Completing and submitting employee movement documentation;
- Policy interpretation and benefits info/guidance for employees;
- Supporting the onboarding process, making recommendations (and implementing changes) for continuous improvement;
- Employee engagement & culture-building activities (surveys and action planning, committee work, etc);
- Providing reporting and conducting analysis related to recruitment and program activities (time to fill, current vacancies, and other metrics).

**What you Bring**
- Minimum 3 - 4 years of progressive HR experience, with a specific focus and depth of experience in talent acquisition;
- University degree or a diploma in human resources management, business administration, communications, social sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience is an asset;
- Action-orientation and accountability, with the right sense of urgency to meet agreed-upon timelines and, generally, get things done;
- Experience using HR and applicant tracking systems;
- Demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of principles and best practices in diversity, accessibility, inclusion, anti-racism, and equity;
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in talent acquisition;
- Ability to contribute to a team by adopting a results-oriented approach and by building and maintaining productive and trusting relationships, focusing on positive outcomes;
- Demonstrated ability to provide sound advice and to influence managers on talent acquisition matters;
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to propose creative solutions to complex issues;
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a commitment to accuracy and detail-orientation;
- A credible and capable demeanor and track record that give the people around you confidence that you have “listened to understand” and that they are in good hands with you;
- Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
