**The Opportunity**

The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for providing a variety of support to ensure our human resources programs and services run smoothly and effectively while meeting the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide general support for human resources programs and services
- Prepare and issue employee communication, as directed, such as employment offers, promotion letters, discipline letters and termination letters
- Coordinate activities throughout the employee lifecycle: new hire orientations, onboarding and offboarding.
- Maintain the Resource Management Tool and supporting forms
- Respond to general employee queries
- Create and maintain personnel files and maintain accuracy, privacy and confidentiality of personnel files
- Examine personnel files to answer inquiries and provide the information to authorized persons
- Update & maintain Employee Manual including HR policies and processes, as directed
- Maintain organizational chart
- Coordinate with Accounting and Payroll Manager, as needed, regarding benefits & payroll updates and changes
- Calculate key human resources metrics for review by management
- Provide support as needed to the administration team.

**Requirements**:

- Must be authorized to work in Canada
- High school diploma combined with 2 years of human resources administrative support experience or currently enrolled or completed a post-secondary program in business with a specialty in human resources
- Knowledge of computer systems and the ability to work with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Understanding of relevant legislation
- Understanding of personnel records management
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational and record-keeping skills
- An ability to work independently

**Salary**: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 16 per week
