**THIS IS A TEMPORARY REPLACEMENT POSITION FOR A BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEE.** Terms and conditions of employment are as outlined in the Support Staff Collective Agreement.

Located in Barrie and reporting to the Program Manager, Canadian Dealer Academy, the incumbent performs a wide variety of key duties to ensure the successful delivery of the Automotive Dealership Management Post Graduate program. The incumbent is responsible for the scheduling of courses across Canada and registering students into appropriate course sections, ensuring correct fees are charged and collecting payment. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
**STUDENT INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION**
- First point of contact for inquiries from students, corporate clients and dealerships regarding program and entry into the AUDM post-graduate program for both in and out of sync students
- Register students to the AUDM program by:

- Ensuring correct/complete information is entered into Student Information System (SIS)
- Determining legitimacy of company billing by verifying authorized signature
- Producing report to identify numbers in each section and information for personalized letters Compiles course information is communicated to the student and confirmation of registration is provided
- Working with the Registrars Office to complete admissions process and entrance eligibility
- Ascertaining appropriate fees based on previous or current status (domestic versus international)

**CO-ORDINATION OF ONSITE CLASS**
- **Coordinate and develop a semester schedule for the program across Canada, recognizing logístical complexities and faculty availability**:

- **Assist with program orientation and onsite support requirements**
- Ensure all faculty has all supplies necessary to deliver onsite portion of course
- Coordinate accommodation, flights, catering and media requirements for on-site courses throughout Canada
- Responding to enquiries from students to ensure that all students have information pertaining to their onsite course.
- Processing invoices for payment and invoicing corporate clients. Responding to students’ enquiries regarding course results, logging into Georgian systems and entrance requirements

**COURSE COMPLETION**
- Compile all course completion materials (surveys, requests to graduate)
- Enter grades into the SIS by accessing them from the LMS
- Participate in the organization of program completion celebrations

**BALANCING DAILY RECEIPTS**
- Produce cashier tender report which shows daily receipts broken down by payment type
- Balance individual registrations to cashier report - investigates and resolves discrepancies
- Forward daily summaries and corresponding paperwork to accounting

**Qualifications**:

- Successfully completed a one-year Post Secondary Certificate in Business or a related field of study
- A minimum of two years’ experience providing front-line customer service in an office environment
- Experience assisting with financial processes (i.e. processing payments, balancing daily receipts, etc.)
- Computer skills and experience using the MS Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Access to reliable transportation with the ability to travel, as required
- Experience working in a student information system (SIS), preferably Banner, and a cashiering system, TouchNet would considered asset
- Experience in a postsecondary educational institution, preferably in a frontline customer service role processing registration would be considered an asset
- Experience working in a unionized environment and working within the collective agreement parameters
- Travelling to various off-campus course locations within the GTA as required
- Must complete a Criminal Record Check upon hire
