Nightshift Supervisor/quality Control

**Shift Supervisor/QC Operations Manager 4:00pm - 2:30am Night Shift**
- **Key Responsibilities**_
- Arrive at least 15 mins prior to shift to have things ready to go at start time.
- Ensuring safe and efficient function of the shop
- Supervise shop employees
- Develop, train, and coach shop staff
- Complete daily schedule, station assignments, training, breaks and assignments of overtime
- Maintaining time and attendance for shop staff
- Responsible for all Quality Control. Promote high quality workmanship
- Ensure clean and organized work areas
- Complete all required paperwork
- Proactive communication with all departments to ensure job flow and quality
- Enforce all RKO policies at all times
- Attend daily supervisor meeting and carry out tasks according to instruction given
- Communicate any problems that arise, if it cannot be solved to managers
- **Required Skills**_
- _Hands - on, verifiable knowledge in fabricating structural and miscellaneous steel including structural beams, columns, stairs, handrails, ladders_
- Ability to read and interpret steel drawings and blueprints
- _Knowledge of CWB welding codes, specifications and standards, namely W47.1 and W59.1_
- Knowledge of CNC machinery
- _Set up and operate all shop equipment_
- _Ability to coach, train and motivate fabrication staff_
- _Ability to operate overhead crane_
- _Strong attention to detail with excellent problem solving skills_
- _Valid driver's license_
- _Basic computer skills_
- _Able to lift 75 lbs_
- _Able to stand for long periods of time_
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
