Wheels for wise assist Veterans and others to get to and from medical appointments, such as doctors appointments, physio, dentist, day surgeries, massage and many others. HQ in Ottawa but developed from NS to ON, we are ever growing to serve the needs of our clients and the Veteran community. This is an amazing opportunity for someone semi-retired or wishes to help Veterans in your area.

We are currently looking for a Driver/support person in and around Ottawa to assists us with our female clientele, for medical reasons.

What we are looking for:
Veteran / Retired RCMP preferred, but not necessary Position is part-time / Casual 5 to 30hrs a week which depends mostly on employees request

MUST have clean drivers abstract

MUST pass vulnerable sector check

MUST be able to temporarily support someone's weight and/or lift 50 pounds

Mileage Paid when utilizing personal vehicle

PREFERRED Location of driver is in west Ottawa, but not necessary

Polite and Caring Demeanor

Smartphone required

Experience with individuals with PTSD and other Traumatized individuals is an asset

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- On call
