We are a small business that provides in-home beauty and wellness spa services from the comfort of our client's homes and cottages. We partner exclusively with multiple Muskoka-based resorts and spas, offering a unique and luxurious experience. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time role that is mostly remote, but attending some in-person events will be required, so residing locally is a must.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations. This freelance/part-time position is based in Muskoka, and we are looking for a multi-faceted individual who can assist us with various tasks on site and remotely. Your primary responsibilities will include managing and organizing the calendars of our technicians and their clients' appointments. Additionally, you will provide support for social media activities and basic event coordination. $18-$25, flexible schedule

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform basic administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Efficiently manage and organize calendars, including scheduling appointments

and coordinating with clients and technicians.
- Assist with social media content creation, including capturing engaging photos

and videos.
- Provide support for basic event coordination, such as assisting with event

setup, registration, and attendee communication.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with the TIMELY booking app is a huge benefit.
- An interest in social media and the willingness to learn.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Interest in the beauty and/or wellness industry is preferred.
- Spa/salon/beauty experience is preferred but not required.
- Must own or have access to a car for occasional in-person events and meetings.
- Must reside in Muskoka, Ontario.
- Must be able to attend events in person.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 5-10 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
