At Troubled Monk, we're passionate about crafting beverages that captivate our community and reflect our pioneering spirit. We’re looking for a dynamic, tech-savvy, growth-driven Marketing Manager to join our team and lead our marketing department.

As Marketing Manager, you’ll drive our brands' strategic and operational marketing vision, including Troubled Monk, Troubled Tea, Epitaph, Adequate, and GrainHenge. You’ll lead a small, talented team (including an Events Coordinator, Social Media Coordinator, and contractors (content creators, web developers, graphic designers, print vendors, etc) to elevate brand awareness, community connection, and revenue growth through innovative digital, social, and traditional marketing.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Strategic Leadership**:

- Collaborate with senior management to evolve and implement a comprehensive brand vision and multi-channel marketing strategy.
- Develop and manage the annual marketing plan, budget, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals.
- Lead your team in operationalizing the strategic plan, setting clear KPIs, and guiding performance toward shared goals.

**Creative Design & Brand Identity Execution**:

- Work closely with the General Manager and external companies to design packaging, labels, and boxes, ensuring brand consistency and compliance.
- Oversee merchandise design and coordinate with the Taproom Manager to organize merchandise for effective in-taproom sales.
- Manage contract graphic designers to develop collateral that supports taproom promotions, sales initiatives, and events, ensuring alignment with brand standards and marketing objectives.
- Ensure all visual assets, from packaging to promotional materials, are on-brand, compelling, and aligned with Troubled Monk’s creative vision.

**Team Development**:

- Support and mentor direct reports in social media, content creation, and event execution.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting growth and accountability.
- Build and maintain a network of contractors and freelancers to provide flexible support and specialized expertise for specific projects.

**Marketing Execution**:

- Spearhead data-driven marketing initiatives, leveraging consumer insights and industry trends to drive brand strategy.
- Manage the backend of Troubled Monk’s website (built in WordPress) to ensure content is accurate, products are up to date, and the user experience is seamless.

**Community Engagement & Brand Compliance**:

- Uphold and elevate brand identity, values, and messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
- Drive local and regional brand awareness, fostering community involvement through partnerships and sponsorships.
- Ensure compliance with AGLC regulations in all marketing materials.

**Innovation & Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay ahead of industry trends, sharing insights and best practices with the team.
- Identify and execute new, creative opportunities for brand partnerships, influencer collaborations, and unique customer experiences.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Work closely with production, sales, and operations teams to align marketing messaging and product positioning.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to maintain brand compliance and deliver outstanding packaging and product presentation.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: Undergraduate degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 5+ years in consumer marketing, with a track record of success in digital and direct-to-consumer marketing and a firm grasp of market research and data analysis.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Familiarity with website management and digital marketing tools, including WordPress, Asana, Google Drive, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Slack; experience managing budgets, setting KPIs, and working within multi-channel strategies.
- **Creative Design Skills**: Experience in graphic design or managing creative projects (such as signs, banners, packaging, labels, and merchandise design) through collaboration with design partners.
- **Leadership & Collaboration**: Strong team leadership and communication skills; proven ability to foster team success and cross-departmental synergy.
