Overview:
Central Alberta Dermatology is a premium dermatology and aesthetic practice, opening soon in Red Deer.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance our brand presence and engage with our target audience. If you have a passion for social media, excellent communication skills, and a creative mindset, we would love to hear from you.

This is a part time position with the potential to increase to full time.

**Duties**:

- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement
- Create engaging content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), and LinkedIn
- Monitor social media trends and stay up-to-date with industry best practices
- Conduct research to identify target audience preferences and interests
- Collaborate with the team to create cohesive campaigns that align with overall marketing objectives
- Manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring analytics
- Utilize advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager to create and manage paid social media campaigns
- Create visually appealing graphics
- Proofread content for accuracy and ensure it adheres to brand guidelines
- Optimize social media profiles for SEO purposes
- Utilize social media management tools such as Hootsuite to schedule and monitor posts

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and their respective audiences
- Proficient in graphic design software
- Strong research skills to identify industry trends and target audience preferences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to proofread content for accuracy
- Familiarity with SEO best practices for social media platforms
- Ability to analyze data and derive insights from social media analytics tools
- Experience with advertising platforms such as Google Ads or Facebook Ads Manager is a plus

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
