**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Ticketing System Management**:
Monitor the ticketing system.Action urgent tickets promptly.Open new tickets and ensure updates are maintained.
- **Real-Time Security Monitoring**:
Conduct "eyes on glass" monitoring of security infrastructure.Monitor security alarm devices for Indicators of Compromise (IoC) using SIEM and cybersecurity tools.Escalate urgent security events to the on-call Senior IT Security Analyst.Provide log, network, malware, and device analysis as required.Highlight gaps in internal and external documentation.
- **Threat Hunting**:
Perform Threat Hunting activities using HoC SIEM and cybersecurity toolkits.
- **Documentation**:
Identify and address gaps in detailed procedures and operational metrics reports.
- **Travel Tracking**:
Update any unplanned travel in the travel tracking spreadsheet.
- **Shift Handoff**:
Provide a comprehensive shift handoff report to the next SoC analyst and the entire Cybersecurity team, including events of interest.
- **Daily Reporting**:

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in a Security Operations Center or similar role.
- Strong understanding of SIEM and cybersecurity tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to perform detailed log and network analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 environment and participate in on-call rotations.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $50.00-$70.00 per hour
