**The opportunity**:
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Education, the Coordinator, Clinical Placement, Skills and Simulation Centre Resources is responsible for working collaboratively with the Director, Clinical Education and Director, Skills and Simulation Centres to ensure an appropriate complement of staff for the clinical and skills courses, coordinate appropriate clinical placements for nursing students in the Bachelor of Nursing program, and liaise with health care services to secure clinical placement sites.

**The qualifications and experience we’re looking for**:

- RN with current CRNM registration is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
- Master’s degree in nursing or in a related discipline preferred.
- Minimum five years clinical nursing experience required.
- Experience supervising and directing staff in a management capacity is required.
- Experience with supervisory functions such as control and direction of work being performed, recruitment and selection and performance management is required.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated leadership ability is required.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
- Must be capable of working efficiently under pressure.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Must possess a dependable, consistent, and reliable work record.
- Must have a clear Criminal Record and Child/Adult Abuse Registry check.
- Must be professional and always maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Must demonstrate an appreciation of the various communities and cultures.
- Ability to work with all levels of staff in a professional and diplomatic manner is required.
- Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
