We are looking to grow our B2B/ commercial services and require someone who can prospect and approach business owners, retail, restaurants, property managers to introduce GarbageBuddy and our service offerings.
**Who are we looking for**:
A self-starter with business development sales experience who can grow our presence in the GTA (Downtown Toronto, Mid Town Toronto, North York, Vaughan, Brampton Scarborough)
**What we offer?**
A competitive salary with an aggressive residual commission upside, performance bonuses and the ability to work from home/remote with a high level of autonomy and support from a close knit team.
**The Role**:
- Develop a strategy to effectively prospect for new business
- Prospect, cold call, knock on doors and pitch and close deals with new customers
- Record all sales activity in the company’s CRM system
- Work effectively with senior management and support staff to ensure customers receive the highest levels of service
**Requirements**:
- Experience selling (into the waste industry is a bonus)
- Comfortable cold calling and door knocking and selling in person to small business
- Self-motivated and sales-driven with proven experience in business development.
- Must be able to travel within the GTA to client sites. (can be 5 to 6 different stops/ locations per day)
- (Mandatory Requirement)
- Minimum 2-3 years in a sales/business development role
- Strong focus on customer service excellence, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
- Strong computer skills and communication skills.
