**About you**:
You'll demonstrate a profound understanding of case management, collaborating effectively across departments to address and solve problems. Flexibility to work in shifts—covering days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays—is essential, alongside participating in an on-call rotation for urgent out-of-hours cases.

You will serve as the key contact for a specialized team, offering guidance in both medical and non-medical capacities. Your duties include conducting medical reviews, validating claims, and managing your caseload with a focus on medical management and cost-efficiency. Additionally, you'll coordinate logístical needs like appointments, healthcare provider selection, and travel arrangements, ensuring seamless communication among clients, patients, and service providers. This role entails on-call responsibilities to address any emergent issues requiring immediate attention outside regular hours.

**In this role, you’ll get to**:

- Medically validate cases and determine the necessity
- Summarize medical information in a clear and concise manner
- Manage a case load of patients in all phases of their treatment course until discharge and return home
- Provide assistance services to traveling members
- Communicate relevant information to all key stakeholders in a timely manner to achieve best patient outcomes in a PIPEDA and HIPAA-compliant environment
- Weekly rounds or case notification reporting to clients
- Facilitate commercial or medevac repatriations
- Coordinate care and arrange billing with various service providers
- Effectively communicate and document all interactions in the case management database
- Act as the liaison between the patient, family members, multidisciplinary teams, service providers, and the client
- Confirm coverage details to service providers and members
- Provide a clinical opinion and participate in the patient’s plan of care
- Be available for rotational shifts on days, evenings, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays
- Participate in an on-call rotation servicing clients outside of standard business hours
- Other duties as assigned by the Director, Clinical Operations and Director of Strategic Initiatives

**What you bring**:

- BSc/Diploma in Nursing, Doctor of Medicine, or equivalent.
- Current license as a doctor or nurse in good standing.
- Fluent in Arabic (MSA, Gulf), both verbally and in writing.
- At least 3 years of experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or in Arabic-speaking roles.
- At least 2 years of case management experience.
- Proficient in clinical skills across various disciplines like oncology, transplant, and orthopedics.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong time management and resourcefulness.
- Effective in both team collaboration and independent work.
- Critical thinker with solid decision-making abilities.
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience managing cases for an International Patient Program.
- Previous experience in travel, major medical, or expat insurance within a TPA environment
- Preference will be given to those speaking a third language (German, French, Spanish, Italian, etc)

**Additional Notes**
- This position requires availability for a shift that will cover the European Union’s hours of operation. A rotational shift to satisfy business operational needs including days and evenings is required including holidays. Overtime is required on an occasional basis.
- On call rotation is at least 1 week every month
- A laptop is required and will be supplied
- Hybrid office work model

**Salary**: $43,597.04-$45,000.00 per year
