**Payroll Manager**

Haddad Apparel Group Canada is a leader in children’s apparel in the Canadian market. The company is focused on the most global iconic brands which include Nike, Levi’s, Jordan, Converse and Hurley, and does business with all major retailers.

We are looking for an experienced payroll manager to perform all necessary functions as specified below:
**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare bi-weekly pay for approximately 100 employees using the Employer D platform by Desjardins
- Review & approve all hours in the time & attendance module
- Onboard new hires, modify employee files, process terminations, and issue record of employment.
- Monitor and maintain vacation banks and sick days
- Answer questions and requests related to pay
- Complete and participate in the production of year-end reports (salary declaration, tax slip remittance, CNESST, 1% training)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Transmit the payroll to the financial institutions

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in a payroll processing
- A Diploma of College Studies (DEC) or University degree in a related discipline
- Knowledge of Employer D payroll system by Desjardins preferred
- Excellent Knowledge of Office Suite, mainly advanced Excel (pivot tables and v-lookup), Word and Outlook
- Excellent knowledge of applicable provincial and Canadian government regulations in payroll management
- Bilingual (French / English)

Responsabilités
- Préparer la paie bihebdomadaire pour environ 100 employés en utilisant la plateforme Employeur D de Desjardins
- Réviser et approuver toutes les heures dans le module de temps et de présence
- Intégrer les nouveaux employés, modifier les dossiers des employés, traiter les cessations d'emploi et émettre les relevés d'emploi
- Contrôler et maintenir les banques de vacances et les jours de maladie
- Répondre aux questions et aux demandes relatives à la rémunération
- Compléter et participer à la production des rapports de fin d'année (déclaration de salaire, remise des feuillets d'impôt, CNESST, formation 1%).
- Maintenir des dossiers, des registres et de la documentation exacts et à jour en matière de ressources humaines.
- Transmettre la paie aux institutions financières

Exigences
- Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience dans le traitement de la paie
- Diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) ou diplôme universitaire dans une discipline connexe
- Connaissance du système de paie Employeur D de Desjardins souhaitée
- Excellente connaissance de la suite Office, principalement Excel avancé (tableaux « pivot » dynamiques et v-lookup), Word et Outlook
- Excellente connaissance de la réglementation provinciale et canadienne applicable en matière de gestion de la paie
- Bilingue (français/anglais)
