Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Intake Coordinator. The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for managing the intake process for new clients, ensuring accurate and timely collection of client information, and providing exceptional customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct intake interviews with new patients to gather necessary information
- Enter patient data into electronic records system Jane
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Schedule appointments for clients and coordinate with therapists on the team as needed
- Adhere to PHIPA regulations and maintain client confidentiality at all times
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from clients
- Excel experience is necessary for this position
- The position would be remote 4 days per week, and in-person 1 day per week

**This would be an independent consultant position, which means there are no CRA deductions or benefits**

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in medical administration is a plus
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist, medical administrative support, or similar role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter data
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
