In this highly visible role, you will act as a consultant on human resource management issues and provide proactive, solution-oriented advice.

**What you’ll be working on**:
- Providing consultation, guidance and advice to internal client groups and senior leaders across a diverse range of disciplines with a focus on developing and maintaining strong relationships- Drive business results through expertise and guidance in areas such as talent planning, employee relations, performance management, legal and procedural compliance, workplace policies, employee engagement, program/policy roll-out, change management, and compensation planning- Using analytical and conceptual thinking, proactively identify key issues and emerging trends- Working closely with our HR data and analytics team, understand data and support the use of data within the business to make decisions- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations and ensures compliance with internal policies- Drawing upon past HR experience and educate client groups on corporate perspective and possible impacts their actions might have in the short term, longer term, and at different levels of the organization- Ensure that all HR programs, policies and processes are implemented in a manner that supports the organization’s Mission, Vision and Values- Provide coaching and development opportunities to more junior team members- Participate in or lead projects as required

**What you’ll need to have**:
- 8+ years work experience in a human resources role with a specialization in business partnering- Completion of post-secondary program in business, human resources or a related field- Comprehensive experience and knowledge in human resource business partnering and other HR functions such as: organizational development, compensation, recruitment, employee relations, engagement, and training & development- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively and influence a wide variety of people at all levels within the organization-
- Strong interpersonal skills; listen effectively, demonstrate sensitivity, exercise tact, give support, disagree and be able to maintain a relationship, leveraging diversity, networking and partnering- Ability to work independently within a highly complex, dynamic environment- Knowledge of formal and informal dispute resolution methodology, procedures, techniques (i.e. mediation); investigative, problem solving and negotiation skills

**It would be nice for you to have**:
- Experience supporting IT and finance business areas- Experience having direct reports and leading a small team- CHRL designation- Bilingualism (English/French)
