Capricorn Tile and Stone Ltd, a leading building company specializing in the installation and repair of ceramic tile and stone products, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Purchase Manager to join our team. As a Purchase Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the procurement of high-quality materials and supplies to support our projects and maintain our reputation for excellence.

Job Duties:

- Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies and policies to optimize procurement processes and achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
- Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors who can provide high-quality ceramic tile and stone products, as well as other necessary materials and supplies.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable conditions for the company.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs to maintain adequate stock levels and minimize shortages or excess inventory.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to understand project requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends, new products, and innovative solutions that can enhance the company's offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier contracts, pricing, and other relevant documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance, including quality of products, delivery timeliness, and customer service, and address any issues or concerns that arise.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- At least five years of related experience required
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers, contractors and etc.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously
