Shipping Coordinator

**Job description**

We are a well-established family farm looking to hire additional staff members to meet the needs of our growing business. We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude who are not afraid of hard work. This is a fast pace environment with physical work which involves lifting up to 50 pounds. An attention to detail is essential.

**Day to day duties include but are not limited to**:

- Organization of large daily shipments to customers
- Tracking inventory of transit containers
- Prepping transit containers for animals
- Washing transit containers (50% of the work day)
- Organization and cleanliness of shipping room
- Supervising, organizing, & training staff
- Data entry
- Audit for accuracy

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Strong and efficient communication skills
- Detail oriented with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Fast decision making skills to resolve time-critical issues in a fast paced environment
- Critical thinking
- Experience supervising and training
- You are NOT afraid of spiders or rodents... this is a farm after all
- The position is full time, 5 days per week.
- The wage ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour dependent upon work experience.
- This position is mostly indoors.
