Job description


We are a well-established family farm looking to hire additional staff members to meet the needs of our growing business.

We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude who are not afraid of hard work. This is a fast pace environment with physical work which involves lifting up to 50 pounds. An attention to detail is essential.

Day to day duties include but are not limited to:

  • Organization of large daily shipments to customers
  • Tracking inventory of transit containers
  • Prepping transit containers for animals
  • Washing transit containers (50% of the work day)
  • Organization and cleanliness of shipping room
  • Supervising, organizing, & training staff
  • Data entry
  • Audit for accuracy

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong and efficient communication skills
  • Detail oriented with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Fast decision making skills to resolve timecritical issues in a fast paced environment
  • Critical thinking
  • Experience supervising and training
  • You are NOT afraid of spiders or rodents... this is a farm after all
  • The position is full time, 5 days per week.
  • The wage ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour dependent upon work experience.
  • This position is mostly indoors.

$18.00-$20.00 per hour
