Position Summary
The position is the primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and the general public using the library, with the incumbent providing a high level of public service. The Incumbent is responsible for:
- Instructing all users in search strategies - Providing in-depth research assistance to students, faculty, staff both in-person and online - Planning and conducting Information Literacy instruction and orientation sessions - Providing Library Liaison services to assigned schools, campuses and online programs - Developing and maintaining audio visual /equipment collections - Implementing new technologies and supports associated with accessibility services - Maintaining copyright supports and related services - Compiling and reporting Public Service Desk and other related statistics - Managing library overdues
