**Responsibilities**:
Develops and streamlines the technical writing process for the rail company according to the document development life cycle. Creates, maintains and revises a variety of high-quality technical and non-technical documentation

**Qualifications**:
EDUCATION

Grade 12 graduation plus a 2-year Diploma or Certificate in technical communications/writing.

EXPERIENCE

3 years of demonstrable experience in a technical environment engaged in technical writing

Attention to detail with the ability to consistently produce clear, concise, comprehensive, and accurate high-quality content for the intended audience.

Strong analytical skills including gathering and analysing information from multiple sources, such as drawings, manuals, and schematics, etc.

Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.

Strong interviewing and research skills

Strong time management and organizational skills.

This position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely within B.C.

**Rate of Pay**:
Wage: $44.61 per hour.
