We are seeking a dedicated, member service-oriented professionals to join our Camps team as Full-time Junior Lounge Attendant from JUNE TO AUGUST 2024 (Weather dependent).

Under the supervision and direction of the Children’s Program Manager, the Junior Lounge attendant will be responsible for carrying out the day-to-day programming for the Junior Lounge following the monthly calendar as well as assist in the implementation of any events related to children & family programing at the club; including but not limited to PA Day Camps, Seasonal Family Events and any other Junior lounge duties and responsibilities.

**MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Deliver Quality Programming for children aged 1-13
- Provide a welcoming and friendly environment and experience to parents (and/or caretakers) and children in the Junior Lounge.
- Provide excellent supervision and care of children in the Junior Lounge and ensure children get to their parents should they leave the junior lounge.
- Reading and completing documentations in a neat and legible manner (sign in-out logbook, accident reports, cleaning/disinfecting log, communication book etc.)
- Must be available to attend the on-the-job (paid) training in Mid-late June
- Be aware of Emergency Policy and Procedures as well as the Safe Exit plan and meeting locations.
- Ensure the children are engaging in the activities and assist them when needed.
- Assist with opening, closing, pick up and drop off procedures (during summer months)
- Attend team meetings as scheduled by the supervisor/ manager.
- Assist with movie nights and other Junior Lounge activities/ hours as needed (evenings/weekends)
- Assist in all additional duties as assigned by the Camp Director

**JOB SPECIFICATIONS/ QUALIFICATION REQUIRED**:

- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Previous experience working with children is an asset
- Must have a valid training/certification in High Five, First Aid & CPR - level C (Child and Infant)
- Sports background is an asset (golf, tennis, swimming)
- Ability to work varied shifts, including, weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable speaking in front of a group is an asset.
- Energetic and Enthusiastic.
- Ability to get children energized and excited about being left in the room.
- Must be able to think on the spot (to engage with the children)
