The **Jr. **Retail Analyst** will be responsible for coordinating the flow of all merchandise with the goal to optimize inventory levels and retail sales. The Jr. Retail Analyst supports the Company in achieving seasonal inventory goals, timely flow of merchandise, forecast accuracy and order placement objectives. The Jr. Retail Analyst will report directly to the Retail Planning and Analytics Manager.

**Responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:
Analytics:

- Developing and delivering Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Sales reports for Key Accounts.
- Providing data-driven insights to Key Accounts Retail supply chain customer teams in order to support the Company in achieving business growth targets.
- Analyzing past and current business and providing recommendations to internal Mad Engine Management on improvement opportunities.
- Tracking POS performance and trends as a store level, to identify risks / opportunities as early as possible and ensuring all stakeholders are notified when actions are taken or need to be taken.
- Responsible for proper inventory availability at DC and Store level while researching and investigating any out of stocks across the chain to implement corrective action as needed.
- Creating and maintaining optimal store allocations for Mad Engine products by analyzing Space, Sales, Weather, and other important variables.
- Innovating, measuring, and achieving KPI's (Key Performance Indicator) goals which are critical to our success - includes In stock availability, Fill rate, Forecast Variances etc.
- Develop planning and growth strategies within categories, such as Space plans, Sales plans, Inventory Plans, Exit Plans, AD Plans, and Feature Plans etc.
- Investigate and resolve Inventory issues.
- Carry out any other duties as may be reasonably expected by management within the scope and responsibilities of a Planning/Analytics role.
- Other duties to be assigned, as necessary.

Business Relationships:

- Work closely with Key Accounts Retail Customer teams to build trusting and lasting relationships.
- Attend sales meetings with all stakeholders to discuss business trends, key upcoming events, and projections.
- Attend meetings/calls with Key Accounts Retail Customers to ensure we are always on track, providing proactive support and status updates as required.
- Communicate and collaborate internally with the Customer Service team as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education is required
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of the “Supply Chain” process is an asset
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter with flexibility to meet challenging priorities while adhering to departmental deadlines
- Able to work under pressure and cope with high volume workload
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills - Excel, MS Office (required)
