The Cloud Operations Administrator is a key position in the newly created Cloud Practice at Interfor. **What You’ll Do**
- Lead the design and implementation of multi-cloud solutions (Azure & Oracle Cloud) for enterprise-level projects, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and well-architected frameworks.
- Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
- Develop and implement cloud migration strategies, minimizing disruption to business operations.
- Evaluate, recommend, and deploy cloud services, tools, and technologies that align with project requirements and budget constraints.
- Monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing our multi-cloud (Azure & Oracle Cloud) infrastructure systems.
- Design and configure system backup, and recovery processes following disaster recovery and business continuity strategy.
- Oversight of cloud implementation (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) by onboarding and offboarding services according to Interfor’s operational framework.
- Understand requirements from Enterprise Architecture, Project Leads, Systems Analysts, and other key technical resources to achieve project goals.
- Build Infrastructure as code using Terraform and\or ARM Templates.
- Ensure cloud services configuration use industry best practices, and Interfor’s security standards.
- Design and perform cloud services security audits following Interfor’s cloud security standards.
- Optimize cost on cloud resource utilization to maximize the value of our IT systems investments.
- Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding system status and issues.
- React to and correct day-to-day operational errors and document resolution.
- Provide in-depth analysis of cloud operations to perform root cause analysis, and improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify, document, and report risks to ensure remediation plans are executed.
- Communicate progress, results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management relying on cloud services.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, trends, and industry best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain the Cloud Operations wiki with technical how-to-do's.

**What You Offer**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in information technology
- 5+ years within a Cloud Operations team
- Minimum 5+ or more years of hands-on experience in cloud administration and architecture, with a primary focus on medium or large Azure or Oracle Cloud operating environment, with professional experience supporting cloud services.
- Proven experience working on larger-scale enterprise cloud design and migration projects, including hands-on design and planning.
- Expert-level skills in multi-cloud support, maintenance, and automation.
- Thorough knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience implementing security controls.
- AWS Public Cloud knowledge is an asset.
- Working knowledge of centralized monitoring supporting multi-cloud
- Working knowledge of Agile Development.
- General understanding of quality assurance and testing methodologies, as well as SDLC.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Guard is an asset.
- Knowledge of Azure Monitor is an asset.
- Knowledge of Amazon CloudWatch is an asset.
- Hands-on expertise in Terraform is an asset.
- Hands-on expertise in PowerShell and/or Python.
- Azure DevOps experience is an asset.
- ServiceNow ITBM and ITSM knowledge is an asset.
- General understanding of ITIL methodology and practices.
- Good verbal and written skills in English. French is an asset.
- Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) is an asset.
- Cloud certifications or education is an asset.
- Very strong knowledge of deployment, management, security and governance of public cloud Azure or Oracle Cloud (IaaS and PaaS) resources.
- Extensive experience with Active Directory / Azure Active Directory, Azure Cloud (networking, keyvault, compute), DNS, DHCP, Windows Server
- Working knowledge server operating systems, including Windows 2012 R2, 2016, and 2019.
- Demonstrated experience with internal and external systems integration.
- General Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws (ITGC).
- Ability to troubleshoot cloud errors.
- Ability to communicate business concepts effectively to technical staff.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
