Levitt-Safety has an exciting opportunity for an experienced technician to join our team as a Bilingual QA/QC Training Specialist. This role can be based in any one of our branches acrossCanada.

Job Summary
As Bilingual QA/QC Training Specialist, you will have an excellent understanding of audit processes and quality standards and be responsible to coordinate, create and document all activities related to staff training, quality control and quality assurance for our service operations. This will include all inspections, maintenance, installations and repairs covering all work that is conducted by service staff, sub-contractors or sub-distributors. (VFSS and other Fire related services with back-up for Respiratory, Fall Arrest, Instrumentation and other H&S offerings)

Partnering with both internal and external customers, you will be a trusted advisor and provide support and direction to meet quality standards and training requirements. Conducting regular branch audits, you will report and develop corrective actions against non-conformances found during Audit review periods.

Key Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance / Quality Control, Training Specialist has the responsibility for all documentation, training, implementation, and maintenance of the quality management system. Duties will include but not be limited to:

- Reviewing the current team’s qualifications and training skills to meet business requirements
- Deliver training programs to customers and employees as and when needed
- Review documentation and audits conducted by the internal team and that of our sub-contractors and distributors and make recommendations to ensure compliance
- Monitor and own all quality-related activities for the service group. (Recalls, Bulletins, Processes and Policies)
- Project review prior to kick-offs
- Coordinate all quality-related correspondence, follow up and resolution of any technical discrepancies
- Coordinate quality inspections, perform internal and external audits, and oversee all amendments and revisions.
- Action and close all non-compliance issues
- Provide audits for branch/ region areas such as support for COR, health and safety, and compliance issues, etc.
- Provide loss control audits and investigations covering incidents such as false discharges, fires and property loss.
- Conduct tool-box meetings when visiting branches

Job Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in both English & French
- Must have a minimum of 5 years in at least one of the areas this role supports (ie: VFSS/ HVAC/Alarms/ SCBA or Instruments etc.)
- Experience in a supervisory role, an asset.
- Computer savvy and comfortable using different programs.
- Ability to travel frequently and visit customer and branch locations.
