Oakville, Canada Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions Full time

As a Training Specialist working with the Water Technologies and Solutions (WTS) team, you will prepare, develop, and deliver Operator training to a diverse and widespread group of industrial and municipal customers as well as internal stakeholders. Training will include but not be limited to the theory and principles of water, pure water and wastewater treatment, operating and maintenance practices, etc..

**What you will be responsible for**:

- Coordinate and conduct operations training programs, including blended learning such as pre-learning, digital learning, and classroom workshops.
- Evaluate and incorporate lessons learned, quality alerts, products alerts, safety alerts, and into training material for Commissioning, Plant and Maintenance Personnel.
- Work with internal stakeholders to prepare and submit training packages during the basic / detailed engineering design phase.
- Ensure continuous improvement, maintenance and management of the training program incorporating lessons learned and maintaining the currency of training material with up-to-date technology and/or market trends.

**What will you bring to the table (Skills/Experience Required)**:

- Bachelor of Science degree in a field related to water treatment.
- Technical training or college coursework in engineering, chemistry or environmental sciences is preferred. Any equivalent combination of education, extensive field service / commissioning experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Knowledge of effective management practices, methods, procedures, and techniques for water treatment operation
- Knowledge of laboratory and analytical methods used in the analysis of wastewater and/or drinking water.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams.
- Travel to job sites between 90-120 days a year to conduct in-person training.
- Valid Driver’s License and Passport.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20lbs.

Pay: $100,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
