Qualifications:
Essentials:

- Post-secondary diploma or degree in business administration, office administration, public administration, social sciences, law or a related field with extensive administrative work experience. Other combinations of education, training and experience may be considered.
- Supervisory experience, including coaching, mentoring and performance development, ideally within in a matrix management environment.
- Experience in developing and managing tracking systems and organizational processes for a large and complex organization.
- Superior verbal communication skills to communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Superior written communication skills to draft, format, edit and proofread correspondence and reports.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong political acumen and demonstrated ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Desired:

- Experience working with legislated committees, boards or quasi-judicial.

**Duties**:
Working within the Office of the Assistant Deputy Minister and as part of a divisional team, the Divisional Coordinator serves a unique role in supporting the statutory and ministerially-appointed committees for early learning and child care. The Coordinator is responsible for the effective management and coordination of committees, supporting senior leadership within the division as well as committee members in the successful administration of their operations. The Coordinator is responsible for the leadership, design and oversight of divisional administrative structures, policies and procedures. The Coordinator creates administrative alignment by providing mentorship and guidance to a team of administrative staff across four branches.
