We are looking for an upbeat and proactive **Deskside Consultant **for our **Edmonton **branch to support our clients on-site in Edmonton In this role, you will leverage your technical skills and provide an excellent customer experience, while building your experience and growing your career with Long View.

**A Day in the Life**:

- Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and telecommunications equipment
- Install and support PC, laptop, tablet and mobile hardware and software
- Image workstations using Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager and deploy workstations
- Identify and effectively communicate recurring issues and trends and assist with creating efficiencies and processes
- Participate in hardware and software reviews and recommend purchases with members of your team
- Maintain inventory of installed software, manage software licensing and create policies and procedures for upgrades
- Work with hardware and software vendors to assist in remediation of incidents, verify timely product delivery, and ensure that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule
- Develop and maintain documentation related to end user experience and devices
- Must be able to travel to different client locations in and around Edmonton as required

**What You Bring**:

- 3+ years of IT support experience, including experience supporting a Microsoft environment in a Service Desk or Desktop Support Role
- Knowledge of server operations, infrastructure, web interfaces, remote access tools
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
- Experience with:

- Microsoft Office O365
- Remote support
- PC / printer hardware / VPN / Citrix
- Active Directory
- Ability to identify issues, escalate appropriately and work to resolve them
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
- Post-secondary education in a related field

Expected Salary Range is $40,000 - $60,000 plus 10% variable earnings
