- Perform blancher start up as per procedures and clean Turbo belt as well as continuously monitor and document blancher performance
- Check appropriate screens are clamped in place on all shakers.
- Ensure flume product gates are set for appropriate pumps.
- Maintain product levels in meter hoppers through gate adjustment at Tegra discharge.
- Record defect checks before and after Tegra and do necessary adjustments to Tegra, while communicating with the QC.
- Record riffle pan checks at appropriate times.
- Squeegee and shovel any product debris or spills, use water hoses only when necessary.
- Assess trash rejected at blowers and adjust accordingly.
- Keep hoses and cleaning tools on proper hangers when not in use.
- Train and guide the Junior Tegra, while also reviewing test results.
- Support IPS Personnel when needed
- Run the Optyx and Coating machine during off-pack season
- High School education required
- Experience in a food manufacturing and/or packaging environment.
- Ability to evaluate and react to rapidly changing production processes, and determine the most efficient method of accomplishing goals.
- Ability to implement programs collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to multitask.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lead and motivate peers.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
- Working knowledge of various computer programs (i.e. Excel).
- Able to work in hot, noisy, and physically demanding work environment.
