Salluit, Canada Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services Full time

The Inuulitsivik Health Centre (IHC), with more than 950 employees, is part of the health and social services network of Quebec, Nunavik region. It provides the population of the Hudson Bay Territory of approximately 7,000 people with front-line health and social services, including prevention, assessment, diagnosis and treatment, rehabilitation and support. In addition, it provides youth protection services and management for the Nunavik region of Ullivik in Dorval. Its mission is to welcome Inuit people who need to receive health services in participating Montreal hospitals. The Inuit population is distributed in seven communities on the Hudson Bay coast from Kuujjuaraapik to Salluit.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or other relevant field of study
- Experience may be considered as equivalent

**Experience required**
- Minimum of 2 years management experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in adult and mental health social services field
- Experience working in Inuit culture

**Essential skills and aptitudes**
- Proven management skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Good oral communication skills in English French and/or Inuktitut
- Knowledge of Inuit culture and tradition

**Conditions and benefits**
Salary class 37: between 78 482 $ and 102 026 $
Temporary full time position (possibility of permanence) based in Salluit
Isolation premium 240.26$ / week (without dependant) or 423.53$/week (with dependent);
Cargo allowance of around 146.29$/week;
Retention premium 134.15$/week;
Furnished housing provided;
Up to 16 weeks of absence per year.
