**Job Title**:Territory Manager, Medical Supplies & Equipment

**Location**:Ontario Medical Supply (OMS) - Greater Toronto Area, ON

**Reports to**:Sales Manager, Medical Supplies and Equipment Sales (OMS)

**No. of Positions**:1

**Type**:Full time, Permanent

**Salary**:Salary, commensurate with experience plus Commission Plan

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify sales and service opportunities in alternate care markets including LTC, Assisted Living/Retirement Sector and Medical Clinics
- Prospect for new business opportunities for sales growth in assigned territory and increase customer base
- Meet sales targets as set out by Manager and corporate objectives.
- Manage and establish relationships with key decision makers to expedite opportunities
- Focus on customer service and effectively assess customer needs and find solutions to requirements
- Prepare and implement sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and report on opportunities activities in the field
- Effectively leverage the sales department and company staff to meet customer needs and identify leads and referrals
- Maintain product knowledge and advise Manager of education requirements
- Prepare and present in-services on products and services to win increase market share
- Implement and achieve sales visit schedule and visit targets; maintain account services through regular visits, quality checks, audits and follow-up
- Prepare and submit status reports; call sheets, account activity, quote status, follow-up notes and mileage reports
- Prepare reports on performance and achievement of goals and objectives
- Communicate and share new product and service opportunities, special developments and competitors’ information
- Coordinate and implement special sales opportunities to reduce dead stock
- Utilize sales tools provided to enhance job efficiency
- Implement new products and follow through on marketing plans
- Prepare estimates and quotes

**Skills & Qualifications**

**SKILLS**:

- Bilingual - fluent in French and English
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing
- Ability to present to a large group (tradeshow, sales calls)
- Ability to use Microsoft suite of products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Demonstrates accountability and is able to drive results through engagement and leadership
- Driven to success and committed to achieving objectives and sales growth targets
- Strategic account development and territory planning expertise
- Demonstrate customer service excellence
- Able to formulate, prioritize and execute to achieve desired sales results
- Professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum of 5+ years Sales experience is required
- Business Development of new territory management experience
- Full driver’s license in the province of practice and clean driver’s abstract
- Completion of a college program or vocational certificate
- Previous Healthcare industry knowledge & government reimbursement program knowledge is an asset
- Knowledge of medical products required
- Ability to travel within the Greater Toronto Area to Northern Ontario Territory
