**Position Summary**

Workplace Wellness is a comprehensive approach to improving the health and well-being of both employees and the organization. The mission of the UHN Workplace Wellness department is to promote, enhance and support behavioural changes in all members of UHN.

Working under the direction of the Workplace Wellness Manager and in turn the Senior Director Health Services, the Coordinator will play a vital role in the start-up and advancement of an organization wide Peer Connections program that will help enhance support resources for TeamUHN. As an integral member of the UHN Workplace Wellness Team, the Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and day-to-day operations of the Peer Connections Program as it develops into a sustainable internal system.

**Duties**
- Coordinate and oversee program training bookings and schedule
- Respond to staff questions and requests for peer support including coordination of peer matches
- Provides general oversight to Peer Connections network ensuring adherence to program practices and procedures
- Assists in the development of program promotional and resource materials
- Collaborate closely with department leadership team to create detailed program sustainability plan
- Develop and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze program outcomes and impact and provide regular reports to department leadership team
- Other duties as assigned to support UHN Workplace Wellness

**Qualifications**
- Post Secondary diploma or degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health or related equivalent is required
- 1-3 years of experience in workplace wellness/mental health/health promotion training
- Proven experience in development, implementation and evaluation of Workplace Wellness program
- Experience within a healthcare environment or part of an interdisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work well under pressure and use good judgement in assessing difficult situation
- Completion of certification in Workplace Wellness, health promotion, Mental Health training - an asset
