**SUMMARY**

The **Workplace Technology Specialist **is part of a team delivering workplace technology support services for all BGIS accounts. Reporting directly to the Workplace Technology Manager, this role will support workplace technology implementations, act with delegated administrative tasks for workplace technology platforms, develop business intelligence reporting & visualizations using source data from various technologies and software.

**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
**Technology Administration**
- Administers workplace technology platforms and systems including AutoDesk Vault, AutoCAD products, Space Management Platforms including but not limited to Serraview, Office Space, iOffice, FMI, visitor management solutions, occupancy management systems.
- Provides trouble shooting support, quality administration and quality control.

**Support in Implementation of Solutions**
- Provides support to the Manager Workplace Technology as it relates to requirements gathering, documentation.
- Supports with UAT testing and post-production roll outs.
- Provides content creation to support orientation, training and other presentations for technology implementations.

**Reporting, Analytics & Quality Control**
- Develops and supports business intelligence reporting and analytics including data visualizations, as required.
- Performs quality control of data to ensure accurate and meaningful reporting and insights to decision makers.

**Process and Solutions Continuous Improvement**
- Conducts research on current / emerging platforms and solutions.
- Provides assessments and key findings to leadership teams including benefits, limitations and other considerations.
- Proactively identifies and communicates issues and challenges and provides innovative solutions to new and existing problems.

**Project Management Support**
- Manages time on different tasks effectively and reports delays, barriers to progress and or schedule impacts to their project lead.
- Supports the development and management of project reporting materials.
- Reports progress to the project lead on a regular basis to support the effective management of project schedules and costs.

**Relationship Management**
- Consults with and maintains relationships with client representatives at the project level.
- Maintains positive relations to meet client objectives.
- Effectively and pro-actively communicates with stakeholders, such as Clients, contractors and project lead to ensure Client satisfaction and BGIS’s success.

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Community College with 3-5 years of experience in technology administration, data management and quality control
- Experience participating in / supporting the implementation of a workplace technology system/ platform, SaaS solutions or other similar technology implementation
- Experience working in a multi-discipline team including coordination and collaboration of different disciplines to achieve a project outcome
- Experience providing end user support for troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Experience working with business intelligence tools and the creation of content with these tools.
- Education or experience in data science is a benefit.
- Experience working with information technology teams.
- Working knowledge of relational databases, data flows and business intelligence visualization platforms
- Working knowledge of AutoDesk platforms including but not limited to AutoCAD, Vault, Revit
- Awareness and understanding of space management tools and their functions
- Software proficiencies including MS Excel, MS Project, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, AutoCAD, Adobe, Power BI, Tableau or Looker
- Awareness and understanding of visitor management systems, reservation tools and other workplace management systems. Knowledge of occupancy and utilization tools and platforms.
- Strong communication skills (written, oral and visual) to effectively convey project information as well as general relationship and service delivery tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Community College with 3-5 years of experience in technology administration, data management and quality control
