Our presence in the Home Building Supply market is unique here at Payzant. We have a growing network of Payzant locations across Nova Scotia and New Brunswick but are part of a grander umbrella, Home Hardware. Home Hardware is Canada's largest independent hardware and building supplies retailer. We are "home" to a supportive workforce and are dedicated to providing a superior customer and employee experience
As the Store Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our success, driving sales, building customer relationships, and creating an unbeatable shopping environment. With your leadership skills and industry expertise, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of our store and making a lasting impact.
What will you do?
- Lead, inspire, and empower a talented team of individuals who share your passion for building supplies. Your leadership will foster an environment where everyone thrives and exceeds expectations.
- Showcase your knowledge of building supplies, tools, and equipment, guiding your team to deliver outstanding product knowledge and customer service. Together, we'll provide an exceptional shopping experience that keeps customers coming back for more.
- Unleash your creativity by implementing innovative marketing strategies to promote our store and attract new customers. Get ready to showcase our extensive range of products through eye-catching displays that leave a lasting impression.
- Take charge of inventory management and ensure our shelves are always stocked with the latest and greatest building supplies. With your keen eye for detail, our store will be the go-to destination for contractors, builders, and DIY enthusiasts alike.
- Embrace the entrepreneurial spirit by identifying new business opportunities, analyzing market trends, and staying one step ahead of the competition. Your insights and strategic decisions will drive our store's growth and success.
- You're a natural leader with a proven track record of success as a Store Manager or in a similar role within the retail industry. Building supply experience is a definite plus
- Your passion for building supplies is infectious, and your ability to inspire and motivate others is unparalleled. Your team will look to you for guidance, support, and a boost of enthusiasm
- Your organizational skills are top-notch, allowing you to juggle multiple priorities and keep our store running like a well-oiled machine.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and follow-up skills.
- Previous experience in the Building Supply industry and/or a retail environment considered an asset.
